Anyone who loves premium beauty knows that finding high-performance products at an affordable price is no easy feat. But every so often, a beauty box comes along that makes parting with your money feel less like a splurge and more like an investment, and The Prep and Set Edit from Cult Beauty is one such gem.

Packed with industry-favorite brands like Huda Beauty, Hourglass, and Laura Mercier, this collection is worth over $150 but retails for just $55.20. That means you're getting every product for under $10 each.

Saving over 63% on the RRP, the line-up contains cherishing skin care essentials and finishing touches to plump, prime, and polish. Whether you're looking to upgrade your makeup routine or simply stock up on tried-and-true essentials, the edit offers some serious value.

As a shopping writer, it can be easy to be seduced by all the deals and discounts I write about, which is when I heed Martin Lewis' advice that 'an item is only a bargain if you were already going to buy it'. Luckily for me, there was actually one item in particular featured in this edit that has been on my 'to buy' list for quite some time.

The product in question is the full-sized Huda Beauty Faux Filter Color Corrector in Cherry Blossom and I've had my eye on for a while. The brightening essential works to neutralize pigmentation and boost radiance in the under eye area – but thanks to its pretty shade, it even doubles up as a blush. It's been in and out of my basket in recent months as I was struggling to justify the $31 price tag, but as part of the Cult Beauty offer, it felt like it was finally time to give it a go.

Of course, with the beauty box being $55.20, it would only make sense if there were other products I was going to use, too. Thankfully, the supporting lineup is even more elevated, with the Laura Mercier Ultra Blur Translucent Setting Powder (travel size) solidifying my choice to purchase. I already know, use, and love this setting powder, which delivers that signature airbrushed finish without drying the skin, but at $26 for the relatively small pot, I'll do anything to get my hands on it for less.

Then there's the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Primer. I'm a huge fan of their Veil Hydrating Skin Tint for creating a sheer, glowy base, and knew that paired with this matching primer, my makeup game would level up immediately. While it's only a 10ml sample size, it's worth $24 and will give me the chance to try it out for a couple of weeks to decide if I do want to buy the full sized version.

These three products, for me, are the stars of the show, but there is also a Paula's Choice Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Moisturiser, Saie Glowy Super Gel in Starglow, and a Make Up For Ever Mist and Fix-23 BTG Spray all of which will no doubt find their way into my beauty routine, too. Of the six products, only the Huda product was full sized, and while I really love the variety of the products and can appreciate that while small doesn't mean cheap, I think I would have happily sacrificed a product if it meant a second full sized item could have been included.

On the Cult Beauty website, one shopper commented: "Great selection of bestsellers of famous brands, really worth the money in trendy colored box."

Another added: "Nice selection of products. I like having the choice for the Huda concealer and discovering the new Paula's Choice."

The version of the edit containing the Cherry Blossom option of the Huda product is currently sold out, but there is another with the Mango shade that is still available here.

In other beauty deals LookFantastic has their Glow 'n' Go Edit, offering $164 worth of popular skincare products for $43.50. Inside, there's a full sized REN Clean Skincare Radiance Brighten Dark Circle Eye Cream 15ml worth $61.80, which immediately makes the rest of the contents free.

Online beauty retailer, Face The Future, has launched their first Skincare Edit of 2025, too. Worth $649, the Revitalising Rituals beauty box contains a whopping 10 products from premium brands like Augustinus Bader, Medik8, and Rodial, but you can get it for under $129.
